Construction of Bakheng Water Treatment Plant (Phase 3) (Unofficial Translation)

On April 10, 2024, Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority and VINCI Construction Grands Projets enter into agreement on Construction of Bakheng Water Production Facilities Phase 3 with the production capacity of 195,000m3/day. This construction contract is approximately USD103 million which are financed by subsidiary loan from Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) fund by development partners, Agence Française de Devéloppement (AFD) amounting to USD61 million and Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority’s fund, amounting to USD42 million. The construction will be started by June 2024 and completed by third quarter of 2027.
